About Trenton Environmental

Trenton Environmental is a set of plain guides for people who live in Trenton and the rest of Mercer County: where recycling, chemicals and electronics go, how the Delaware River and Assunpink Creek behave, where to get outside, and how to check an older home for lead and radon.

The facts come from the City of Trenton, Trenton Water Works, the Mercer County Improvement Authority, Lawrence Township, the Delaware River Basin Commission, the U.S. Geological Survey, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Rutgers Cooperative Extension and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.

We are not a government office, a utility or a hauler, and nobody pays to be mentioned. We do not name contractors or quote prices for services. The Bucket check on this site runs in your browser and uses the 2026 Mercer County calendar.
